TECS SQL is a 4D Plugin that provides SQL database access to 4D. There are several versions of TECS SQL. Each supporting a different DBMS. Go to the TECS SQL page to find information about current versions and pricing options. TEC Query is a 4D® component that adds functionality to 4D by providing an integrated text indexing and search mechanism. TEC Query is designed to work with all 4D databases. TEC Query has been tested with and supports 4D 6.8.x and higher. Soundex is a function which converts a proper name into a 4 character phonetic equivalent. The above link is to a 4D component which implements this functionality. It is in source accessible form. TEC TCP is a 4th Dimension Plugin providing basic TCP/IP services. These routines provide specific features not found in the routines provided with 4D. Source code is included. These routines are built and tested for Windows machines. Your mileage may vary.
